It's been way too long coming, but here is one of our newest songs at long last! Hurricanes & Tidal Waves expresses the view that the West Coast isn't all it's cracked up to be, and Midwest weather is preferable. This is one of our most typically 'Ska' songs to date.
For this song, as well as El Queso Grande, which is uploaded elsewhere (myspace.com/themulligans ), we decided to skip the recording studio garbage and do it all ourselves. So this is recorded in our drummer's basement and, painstakingly over the course of a couple of months, edited mixed and mastered by yours truly. I am an amateur, but I think it came out well, and the guys agree. So tell us what you think! Leave a review, write us a message, whatever you like. We only ask that if you are going to shoot the song down, you give us a clear reason or some type of specific criticism. Newgrounds has been a great help thus far in improving our sound because or your reviews, and we want to keep on getting better!

i've always liked stuff like this and to be sent this by my mate who found it by mistake i can honestly if you send me a link to download it will go straight on my ipod so that i can listen the hell out of this.

Dang
True it doesn't have some qualities of a professional band...but that is in a studio, with other professionals doing other things to make them sound better.
This has a great sound to my ears, almost like a life performance to my ear...I like it. Keep up the awesome work and awesome everything else.
If you think this sounds live, you should hear our live performance. It sounds like a studio recording! :P

Aw,independent ska...
After only listening to Reel Big Fish,it feels good to listen to something different.
Sure,it doesnt have the audio quality,or the good singing (no offense) of a professional band,but you are the band that introduced me to ska,and I can't stop thanking you.
