A little musical scene by yours truly, tell me what you think (:

I wish it was yesterday,
For I would be whole,
Not miss my heart you stole,
In illusions I'd remain

I wish it was yesterday,
For I would have hope,
Hang onto that rope,
Which you threw away

I wish it was yesterday,
When the words you spoke were true,
Before I fell into the blue,
And the hope you gave me failed

I wish it was yesterday,
But I will keep on walking,
And even try to sing,
Until yesterday becomes today

Pretty good.

A little on the minimalist side, which I don't really fancy, but it was still a good composition, and wasn't necessarily BAD sounding. Just not my cup of tea.

Fantastic Piano

Wow, the piano was great, no doubt about it. Your lyrics are meaningful, flowed well, and sounded very poetic. Great job.

Rwinius responds:

thank you! im working on the lyrics, im planning to place them in the song, read by sapphire or chris.. who knows, the song may improve

by the way, your last place song was really neat! i wish i could handle symphonys..

Wow

Seriously man, that's the best thing you've made. And it gave me that good feeling, so I'll give it a 10 this time. The poem you write there could actually be sung into the song, so even you should try it or ask someone else :) I think that could make it even better if sung good.

For the composition itself... I like the tones. It reminds me a little of my own way of making music. When it goes fast it's just fantastic to listen too. You have a good tempo/rythem too. And that's all I really can say, now I will just enjoy it some more. Favorited :) I will return when you have something new.

im gonna go with a nice soothing female voice, whom can read the poem rather then singing.. but im really glad with the idea!

Pretty darn good

I love your piano composures. I liked the melody of this one, and how it's constantly changing, and it even loops nicely. It'd be amazing to hear it a bit longer, and with the poem spoken, or sang if that was the intention. I felt like the song should have gone on, though. Longer, and have a part with chords. There's a lot of 8th notes in there, maybe switch to some cool bassy chords on the rhythm hand with half notes, then two quarter notes? I'm a sucker for awesome chords, and I know you have the talent to find the right ones.

Regards,
merlin

Rwinius responds:

that really is a great idea! its a bit of an old poem, but i found it to fit the atmosphere of the score, but to accually use it in the song, i hadnt even thought of that! thanks a lot! i

ll probably exend it too, im gonna find a nice soothing female voice to read the poem :) ill defenitly let you know when/ if its done :D

very enjoyable

you come up with some beautiful and sensible melodies. You truly speak through the instrument - this type of pieces are hard to find on newgrounds. glad I found one today. I made it a favourite.
