yeah, it's Stealth-Steve who laid a vicious rap over this beat!
Like mentioned in a previous reply, I've got all the rap recorded, and am currently editing and processing the rap. then i'm gonna finish produce this tune. might take a few weeks though, i've alot on my plate the upcoming two weeks...

It's also cool how at the VERY beginning it was techno then went to hip hop! I wish more songs were like this!

hum, dunno about the techno-part, but i guess it's common for people to think "techno" as they hear synths... :)

I really liked the gritty bass, along with the melodic synth.
I wasn't too much a fan of the plucked parts - but I'd say considering what level NG is on compositional-wise, this is probably one of the better, if not best beats I've heard in the audio-portal.

Out of curiousity, what software are you using when creating music?
Anyhow, an 8 and a 5 from me mate.

glad ya liked it despite the disliking of the plucks!
this tune is completley made with Reason 4.0. I got the lyrics for the full tune, and am currently trying to make something out of it. I edit and will continue mix in Cubase, with Reason Re-Wired.

Has a wicked beat man. Lovin' it. I'm not really sure about the strange choice of melodic synths. They sound so dark and draining. They go together well with the bass though, so it's all good. I imagine it would be harder to rap over this because it's not any ordinary hip hop beat, but props to whoever's creative enough to come up with some lyrics.

weird synthwork is what i'm all about man :D

i got some rapping coming up for this tune right here, and it's some kickassrhymes by a kickass rapper, so this could turn out to be pretty wicked in the end!

and of course the final product will be ALOT more versatile and worked over, this is hardly a skeleton, i need to cover it with muscles, skin, blood and a brain.
