This is the eighth of about 20 short cues I agreed to write exclusively for a pro composer based out in CA. I haven't submitted this quite yet, so I'd love to get some feedback before I do!

A short, upbeat, percussive piece scored for full orchestra.

[edit] After reading some of your comments, I made some subtle changes, mostly in the the percussion near the end. I also added horn rips and more piano arpeggios near the end. Thanks again for the feedback. Enjoy!

It's totally working!

Orchestral Muse! I love arpeggios! This is a really great piece! I love it! Genuinely! Surely among the best of the kind over here!

Vaib's got a point, though, about the off-beat percussion near the end and I do get the rhythm they're on, but that's only if you try to follow them from the start. If you pay attention to them for the first time just a few seconds before the final climax, you'll notice that initially they won't sound to fit. That's because the focus in the electric guitar(s) and the orchestra rather than the percussion, which seems to be your intention. I would suggest, that you either change the percussion part, or add some more instrumentation to back it up and bring it to focus. 9/5 from me!

EPIC

I LOVE IT, the banging at the end might need a little work

sounds great!

sounds like you accomplished what you wanted here. two things struck me as off, though. the first one is that the off-beat drums you use towards the end are simple way too off beat, and are too distracting from the epic, intense feel of the over all piece. you aught to figure out a way to quicken the pace like you are trying to do without causing so much distraction. and the other thing is you spelled it wrong :P it's spelled exhilaration.

As for the drums near the end, I'll go back and make some changes. Thanks for the review!
