"Too repetitive." It's the genre. You don't realize how nice the repetitions are until you try mixing something into a DJ set.
Nice full kit, good pads, overall great track. It didn't have that typical idm break I always stick around for but that only helps make this track different from the rest of your work. Actually... it sounds like you were planning something at 3:06. The melodies were more tame than what I'm used to as well but they flow well into each other and have a good structure. I'd tap that.
In regards to the synth that comes in at 2:00. It sounds fair and I'm noticing that the more I hear it the more sense it makes, but a better initial impression might have been a more hollow sound. Or a brighter sound. Dunno. The melody is really good, but the synth sounded a little cheesy the first time through.
Other than that small bit about the synth lead, it's a great song! It's great to hear your work C:
