Sonic again. I heard a rumour that someone from REM did the music to Sonic 1. True?

BRRRR!!!!!

It sure has a Christmas-like presence for a Star Light Remix. Merry Xmas everyone, from Star Light Zone!!!! Your remix is very calming too, just like the 1991 original.

this happens...

if in the star light zone would shine the sun!^^ i think your version sounds very summerish! like sonic would lie on the beach, drinking coke or smething like that.^^
and REM did not make the songs from sonic 1 - it was DCT (dreams come true), a very successful japanese band. they also made the music for sonic 2, but they wanted to much money, so sega asked michael jackson for their 3rd part of sonic! hope that helped!^__^

Cool....

I like the way the song panned out from the beginning to the end. It does sounds like Starlight zone good future on vgmusic.com but you out your spin on it

cockjockey responds:

You're right to pick me up on that, because it was heavilly inspired by that good future remix, but my version was done on music 3000 (PS2) where you simply cannot do midi rips, as opposed to my later stuff on FL Studio which can... but I still don't :)
