Changed guitar at the end into a harp, changed the piano in the middle of the song. I also added a little bit of an echo to the twinkle sound at 0:09, also I changed the choir a bit.

Hey guys another new song I hope you like it. I'm going to use this for a upcoming flash I'm making so I would really like some constructive criticism on it!!!. Please rate and comment! Thanks a bunch!!!

It sounds very fluid? The first thing that came to mind was the music from ecco the dolphin, it was kind of an etheral sound to it. Very nice.

Pretty cool. You just need a better program and a little better ear for EQing. The song is generally well put together, layed out etc. Watch your levels and use compression. If it sounds weird, it probably is. Good luck

"Pretty cool."

I listened to your other original piece, Final Battle, and couldn't help but feel like the Slayer was horribly out place. This one however was really cool. Very aural. It really paints a picture. :P

That said, I can't help but feel like you need some better tools. The Plucked! at the end was pretty easy to pick out, and most the rest of it is Sytrus, if I'm not mistaken. But even still it was really pleasant. Would have rated a bit higher if the instruments themselves were a little nicer. Most of them fit their roles admirably, but there was just a tiny bit of fuzz that detracted from the song for me. Good job anyway, keep it up. :D

Author's Response:

haha yea you guessed them all correct I'll give you props for that. I have actually been messing with final battle and wanting to update it soon. Thanks for the advice and I'll definitially mess around with both songs!

"Chilled and eery"

date: July 18, 2009

I liked it. it sounded very chilled and eery, almost final fantasy like. like there should be some battle music soon after haha.

the only thing i didnt like. was the piano, the release wasnt long enough. you should make the release longer or hold the notes for longer. the piano really ruined it for me. the piano just wasnt in rhythm with the rest of the song and overall spoilt it quite a bit.

Author's Response:

ok I'll mess around with the piano and see what I can do with it. Thanks for the comment!

great. few things i wanna comment on though. i dnt know if you planned this but at the 00:48s mark the combination of the muffled rumbling in the back and the warble caused the warble to be too dominat over the other sounds (or maybe it's just me :P) and twards the end maybe quiet down that kind of smooth wind, it distracted from the guitar. I hope i helped but if i didnt just ignore me :) Great Job and i cant wait for the video

Author's Response:

yea I think I understand you there. I'll definitially quite down the wind towards the end initially it was actually louder and I made it quiter from that but I'll make it a little more ambient.
