Pretty Epic
This does sound like RuneScape. I especially love the fact that this could be used for a title screen on any ancient war type game. It is nice how looping it would flow.
So This is song number a bagillion of my different genre search to see what else I can do for fun. Anyone have any ideas for other genres? That I can do... No HEAVY METAL or folk or bluegrass or anything... I'm having fun experimenting and the stuff coming out isn't too bad. So Enjoy, I'd continue this if Edirol wasn't such a piece of junk.
Oh for a backstory (Alot of classical submissions have backstories apparently 8/)
I feel lame doing this, but
As the song opens, a lone warrior is sitting in a field with his eyes closed. With the first crash he stands up and faces the giant shadow of an army approaching him. He picks up his weapon and takes them off guard... He charges them. As he is running He readys his weapon, as the climax of the song approaches he leaps into the air, weapon held high. His twisted face puts fear into the hearts of the entire army he is now falling into. As the enemies reach for their weapons the song ends, and the scene fades out... We are unclear what happened after this.
Song would be good for a movie trailer IMO. I'll try and do some more work on it to make it longer, but I'm not sure where else to go at this point.

not the best work in this genre
a good classical war themed piece needs a more intense climax, this piece is just to short to get it out, I feel you were heaed that way but you didn't make it.
this is good
this reminds me of runescape for some reason
AOE is back
Reminds me of Age of Empires
Hm.
Nice...
The Music reminds me of Runescape. >_<
