Short piece of ambient music

Rated 5 / 5 stars October 18, 2009

Creepy! I love it! :D

The combination of spooky sounds you used in this piece is really great! I especially like the fact that you added drums in, but I also like how subtle they are; I didn't notice them for a while, but they make this sound different from most horror-themed pieces I've heard. And the piano is the beginning is just beautiful!

Regardless of whether or not you were going for a "haunted-house" type feel, that's exactly how I felt while listening to this. It would sound very appropriate in an animation where someone enters and explores the main hall of a dark, old-looking building, and ends up discovering a hidden room that contains some shocking secret.

Awesome job!

Really nice.

Nice piece of music to have in the background while working, the piano worked well. This piece is very relaxing as apposed to most other things in the Audio Portal.

"Keep it up"

Gender bending (genre bending)

What a wonderfully professional array of sounds you own Mr. SonicMouser.
I can see why you chose to file this song under the Ambient genre, but it is clearly a collection of many more styles of music. In one way it reminds me of the soft-jazz that one hear's playing in dental surgeries and chiropractor's offices. On the other hand you have a very new-age/world music type of string arrangement. And who could ignore the hip-hop drums. I am very impressed at your musical gender-bending.
Keep it up, as they say.

SonicMouser responds:

Well, thank you very much Iglet. It feels good to get a great review every now and then :)

I have been trying to experiment with this type of sound for a bit now and have a couple more pieces in the works as we speak.

Again, thank you very much... it means alot.
