I enjoyed this very much! I enjoyed it so much, in fact, that I intend to use it in a "silent" film submission to newgrounds. Excellent work.

"I like it....but it isn't ragtime"

Ragtime usually starts with an intro, and has syncopated beats. This didn't really sound like ragtime to me, as I play a lot of it. Good job though. Unfortunately the fact it isn't really ragtime killed it.

Technically, this song has an intro and syncopated beats, but seeing as I wasn't trying to compose a song following any guidelines, any likeness to a certain style of song is just coincidental.

but hardly a rag, rag= left hand on beat , note then chord patern, and right hand SHOULD be SYNCOPATED. try using dotted notes.

I know what a rag is and therefore know that this isn't a rag. The name is what it is because I was eating strawberries at the time and the song reminded me of a rag.
