"Don't want to sound annoying"

date: July 13, 2009

But like others have said, SCTE3, the static debases the overall experience. However, the voice wasn't too bad, and it was ok for the most art.

I agree with Coop that you should add a gap of a few seconds in between, it makes it much easier for the audience to go along with the rest of the piece.

"Too much static"

by: Coop83
date: July 12, 2009

I think that you need to pull the mic a little further away from your mouth. The static sounds mostly occur from your breath hitting the mic, which takes away from the decent sounds of the different "You've got mail" sounds.

Perhaps leaving a gap of 2-3 seconds between each one would have helped - I know it's difficult, as it seems like an age between samples, but it does help people to digest that particular one, before moving onto the next.

"Everything was good, except..."

...for the quality, it sounded kind of staticy and fuzzy at times. Other than that everything else was fine, you have a really nice vocal range that would be perfect for flashes and whatnot. Next time use Insanimation's advice and use a sock to block out static. PRetty good job here man, 45 from me, keep up the good work! :)

"Bad quality"

date: July 9, 2009

Pity that the recording quality is so low. Some of the voices you did in this submission are pretty good. Also you provide a wide range of voices here that I can imagine in a flash submission.
If, yes, if only the sound quality wasn't so low. Sometimes (especially in the beginning) there are quite a few static and "blowing" sounds.

So I guess you should try to find a way to get rid of those sounds.

Author's Response:

I'm going to take Insanimation's advice and use a sock next time to block out static since it seems air is what causes it or my breath.
