"That beat is so infectious."

As all the others said, the piano is a bit too low in the mix. The guitar riff and drums definitely fit in with each other and the beat, and that string interlude at 2:35 is quite the interesting passage too, what with the piano sort of going through a key change there somewhere around 2:44.

Ahem. Yes. Very good song. 5/5, 9/10 and a download for you, sir.

"Nice."

The drums were really militaristic in the beginning, which I like. You might want to mix up the rolls with another sample of the same hit to prevent the "machine gun" techno drum sound. Great guitar.
It's a matter of personal taste so I'll just throw it out there: maybe you could make the piano track a little less sparse so it's playing chords with the left hand a little more. Also, the piano could be a bit louder.

Author's Response:

Yes! I totally agree with you about the drums. I am currently seeking out a professional drummer that can play this beat for me and rerecord it. And yes, my friend, the piano is personal taste. How zen of you to realize that =)

"Good work"

date: July 2, 2009

Drums are good in the beginning, I liked their volume. The crescendo of the drums was nice at 00:52, they still sounded good at that volume. After the guitar comes in, the piano gets drowned out at places, may want to raise it's volume. The ending was a good cap for the song. I found it was hard to pick a melody out again though, the beginning the main focus being the drums, then after that nothing stands out.

Author's Response:

Thank you vey much for your in-depth review! I'm sorry that the subtle melodies didn't sing to you later on in the song like they do with me, however, I appreciate the critique and it has been added to my notes when it comes time to master the track. Take care =)
