If you haven't watched The YuYu, then wtf, go here:

First, there was the YuYu Flash animation with the awesome music. Then came pheel's YuYu 8-Bit covers and one that's rock. And after hearing all of these versions, I felt that another version had to be added...if you've never heard Folk Metal, now's a good time to start =)

Thanks goes to Adam Phillips, Peter "Spider" Stacey from The Pogues, James Walbourne & pheel.

very very nice
keep it up

rtnario responds:

Um, I'm pretty sure this isn't power metal...listen to some Helloween, Nocturnal Rites, Hammerfall, etc. cause this is, as said by myself and others, folk metal XD

Wow how did I miss this?

I never knew that folk and metal could go so well together, until now! This a great piece and certainly an eye-opener for those looking for extraordinary music like myself!

Now I have to look up some Elvenking like you suggested to those below me!

rtnario responds:

Heh, there are many metal subgenres out there waiting to be discovered. Power, Symphonic, Melodic, Folk, Progressive and more! And to be honest, I didn't know that this track would help people discover those genres, but damn am I glad that it does!

Again, start with "The Winter Wake" if you're gonna go for Elvenking. Recommended. =)

Thanks!

i freagin love it!

its da best cover i ever heard! sorry if i use yur music in my crappy game. tell me if i should delete music from da game. btw YuYu FTW!

rtnario responds:

Hey now, how can people tell if the game's crappy or not if it's nowhere to be found in the first place? ^^;

And if you think this song fits right in, then just remember to give proper credit, then I'll have no problems.

Thanks for using it anyway =)

Oh hell yeah!

This was like an intense sock between the thighs, I've only heard of folk metal in name. But after hearing this yuyu song re-done and your reference, I'll definitely look into it! :D

rtnario responds:

AWESOME. I swear, you'll love folk metal...but you have to pick the good bands. Like I mentioned to others, try Elvenking's "The Winter Wake" album. Great start; it was mine!

Thanks for the review!
