Since it's not safe for me to continue posting all my original stuff on NG, I decided to to covers of songs I really like so I can post them without possible regrets for doing so. This song is one that I've liked for a while, ever since I saw the movie Donnie Darko. It was originally done by Tears for Fears and redone in this slower style by Gary Jules for the movie. I was on iTunes a while back and saw an American Idol version of this song and took a listen and I really liked it. So I decided to use some of what was unique about that version for my own cover. Most of it I followed Gary Jules' version, added just a little bit of my own, and finished it the same way as the American Idol version.
