Shut You Down

The next one in my Revision series. This song takes place immediately after "Survival of the Fittest". I only wrote the original song "Mission: Shutdown" last year, so it should sound familiar enough to those of you who have been paying attention. I hope you enjoy my new and improved hard hitter, "Shut You Down".

Not bad at all

This was some pretty addicting tunes. I really like how you started off with a drum bit. Most of it sounded like a mix between Black Sabbath (appr. 1975) and Deep Purple (Machine Head era). There are 2 complaints I have.
1) I feel there is too much synth in the song. This tends to overpower the guitar parts.
2) This isn't a very big complaint, but I think it needs some lyrics.
There are some fairly simple ways to change the song for the better, in my opinion. Instead of relying on the synth, perhaps the use of an electric organ might be better. And for the lyrics, just team up with one of the talented lyricists and/or singers on Newgrounds.
Good stuff. Peace.

Yo, thank you so much Mr. Crab! =] I do plan on adding vox to this once I write them.
Unfortunately my program and writing style relies heavily on synth sounds, but if I can get better sounds I will. Interesting references. Sabbath and Deep Purple eh?? Man!! Nice!!!
I'm sure I could turn up the guitar and tone down the rest in another mix some day, but I'm very satisfied with the immediate result. Again, thanks for the great review. We will be in touch sir.
