This sounds really nice, but I can't tell if this is because of what you've done, or just because the original was good..

I liked the beat here, and the vocals were nice. I actually liked quite a lot of it..

Hmm..I just listened to the other song, and, sorry, but I prefer that one. I don't think that slowing it down worked..

You still produced a good result, so I won't dock too many points..

Well R&B all sounds the same to me honestly :P But I did like the beat in this one, and the rhyming was good, some complex ones in there that make the vocals interesting. Can't really say I enjoyed it that much, since I'm not into the genre, but I'm sure it would be appreciated by those who do.

"Isn't this a remix?"

I always thought there was a difference between a remix and a remastered song - a remix changes the song around, including things like tempo and sound etc, while a remastering of the song just tidies it up, possibly getting better, more crisp sounds for the tune, etc. For me, the slowing it by 5% makes it a remix, but I'm not a pro, so there you go.

I think that the vocals do get a little cramped, especially when the vocalists all try to sing over one another - every voice is fighting for control and some of them drown the main lyrics out, which is a shame.

"good job remastering this one"

I listened to both versions of this song, the old one and your remastered version and I must say yours is much better. You made it sound much clearer and gave it much better quality. The quality in this song is so good it almost sounds professional, excellent job. Great work here man, 5/5 from me, keep up the good work! :)
