---BE PATIENT WITH THIS, IT'S A SLOW STARTER---

So, here's the full and final version of "Empirical". I probably won't be revisiting this tune anymore, and consider it done.

I don't know what to label it, really... it's a dark moody trip-hop-kindof experimental scratched up thing. It's always difficult to label ones own work, so I'll leave that up to anyone who wishes to try label it properly. Therefore it'll end up in "miscellaneous" here on NG!

I know I really should wait a week, and listen to the tune in a couple of different systems to get the best out of the mixing, but whatever, it's not that big of a deal - that's an attitude I must try to have a little more often when just producing for fun - othervice I never finnish up tunes.

Anyway, compared with the WIP-version, thisone have scratches innit, and with that some minor changes in the production and the mix. Nothing all to major, really. Though it took quite some time to get all the scratches in place (I'm not as good as I make it seem here, I do edit my scratches to some extent).

I'm happy to be able to leave something finished behind me, that doesn't happen all too often!

Please let me know what you think of the tune!!! :) Mucho gusto!

Long time since I reviewed ANYTHING on Newgrounds. :)

But I just had to with this..

Ok here it goes:
I was getting bored pretty fast with the intro, because I felt that I needed to hear some more effects to keep my attention.
But it's alright.

When the beat comes in it's awesome. Great sound overall man, wow. You've improved so much. It sounds so pro. Great to hear you progressing that well.
I love this style by the way. I'm now much more into these chill experimental tunes than the house/techno tunes I used to listen/make.

Your older tracks also had some scratch effects, but it always felt like it wasn't implemented that well. Like it was a bonus that shouldn't really be in there. But with this track you've done it so well! I really even gives the track more power. Fucking-awesome.

Great pads and composition! Imadownloadthisyall.

Yeah man. You're doing well. ;)

You should come on MSN again and I'll send you some of my new stuff.

See ya

"Et pourquoi pas Hollywood ?"

No need to be patient, the beginning is already excellent. It's a moment of suspension, delicate ambiance. It's enthralling from the start to the conclusion. You know, you sound a bit like Amon Tobin, and if you know who he is, you'll understand the compliment.

Hey man, how ya been? It's been what? ... a year, maybe two, since I last stopped by to review a song from you. I gotta say, there is a strange unique-ness with all your songs that I just love. Heh, you and your scratches. I never really was a fan of the scratches you do in your more modern songs, but the scratches in this song, I didn't really mind (I may have even liked them a little!).

Anyway, I just wanted to drop by and let you know that I haven't forgotten about you! I'm still your fan, and I still listen to your songs, just most of the time, I'm too busy to do anything else besides listen. So I decided to stay up a little later and drop you a review! See you around, man. This is a solid piece of music. :)
