I might as well submit the shitty tunes that never will be finnished anyways, maybe there's somone out there who acutally have use for it...

This I made today, I just had to play around with a rock-preset drumkit in Reason, see what I could do with it.
This is the result. Everything else, i.e. the synths are made from scratch. It should loop OK, but with NG's player cutting a little seemingly random (no offence Mike:), I don't know until it's been submitted.

Next, I'll most likley finnish up my latest WIP Empirical, though I'll re-submit it whenever it's done.

Love the melody, man!

The only thing that spoilt it was that snare and a few of the random percussion sounds!!

You could probably pass this tune off as Dubstep.

Would sound good with some dubsteppy drums. Even though the drums you have are really good!

Add some wobbling bassline, would be killer dude!!
on the lead saw sound, add some automated LFO and make some wobble.

Anyway diggin the tune, keep it comin'

Bigg up!!

I like the drums, but the melody is too pop rock sounding for my tastes.

Should have let your mudkipz try.

Author's Response:

the drums are just a preset that i fippled around with, fixed up the bassdrum and hte snare mainly, and then added a well weighted amount of distortion on the whole drumkit... well, pretty much.

It's got a nice beat going, and the drums sound pretty good apart from the snare. Gives a little too much 80's ballad snare vibes.

I do however like the contrast of having that reverbed snare together with completely dry synths.

Overall, nice work, Rucklo.

thanks man!
it really would need alot more work to make it more versatile, but i probably won't be doing that. or maybe i will. i dunno. :)
