Author Comments

The tears I cry fall not to the ground - but to the heart, through the ear.

I make no excuses for anything in this song.

It is exactly the way it needs to be.

The meanings of this story, written in notes, are up to you to discover on your own.

I wrote this song for a purpose.

I wrote this Song For The Lonely Heart.

So where before I have said "enjoy", I now say something else:

Be Healed.

--EDIT--
September 22, 2009:

#23 of all time on NG's AP. Thanks again to all of you.

September 9, 2009:

#12 of all time on NG's Audio Portal - And there it will be for the 8th anniversary of 9/11. There's symbolism to that.

I can only hope that I can make a difference in someone's life, through the message in this song... If I can save even one soul - then my effort has all been worthwhile.

And so I say once more:

Be Healed.

Hey this is really good and soothing I definitely need it on my mp3. Anyway I'd like to give a long and constructive review but I have to do my homework now >.<
Anyway this is really good and I like the title and the stuff you put in the comments cause' alot of people feel alone so it touches tons of people I think that's also why it's so successful..

"I cried... Then wrote:"

date: September 28, 2009

how can i write what is in my heart

a will so contrite, an unknowing part

in a game so believed to be inevitably true

will find its place swimming in an ocean of blue

one day when we met i found your tears flowing

and brought you my life in this vessel unknowing

and i waned and i pained through the labors of entailed

and saw the great glories I never would have unveiled

and where did I go at the end of this earth

when nothing and no one could ever rebirth

the love that I've known so breathtakingly shown

by that which I loved who showed me my home

to the great grass gardens in my home made above

I wait now beside Him for the woman I love.

Author's Response:

...That was fantastic. Perhaps I could respond in turn, with a poem I wrote sometime last year (before I wrote this song):
---

The White Rose
-A poem-

I take a walk
on a winter's day
in solemn silence

And in pathways
I have walked before
my eyes remain

Slowly flowing
Up
Until

I reach a place
I have been before
if only to observe

Alone

What wonders still
this world retains
from this silent hill

As I arrive
dying golden colours
are painted on the snow

Faintly glowing
gold and
fading

Never have I known
the Sky
I fold my wings

Again

From feathered face
my keen and
understanding eye

A Tear shines
Golden
Falling

But something there
is different than
before

For there
in White
I find

A Rose

The world falls silent
I observe
in darkness

A Tear
Golden on petals
of White

Shining

---

Thank you for your response, RedKing14ca. Definitely made me step back for a bit there. You're good with words, I have to say.
...And I'm genuinely delighted to have recieved such a beautiful poem from you. I don't get that very often. Thank you for sharing that.
