"As sure as the tide comes and goes, My sorrow I cannot erase. My hope like the sun fades on the horizon, leaving an empty shell and what's left of me. Divided I am, waiting to be united. I sit and I watch, a prisoner of my heart."

I wrote this song over the course of a week. I went back and forth between my piano and my computer for quite a while. but over all this was my first project over the summer. I plan to do more.
The song itself is for a contest and a future sound track that i'm working on.

I hope you enjoy it, So far i'm working on getting better. So look forward for more in the future.

"Very, Very Good"

I really, really like the flute (or at least that's what it sounded like). Many composers are not capable of keeping the listener's attention in "quiet" (for lack of a better word) songs. You gave this piece a certain element that keeps the listener not only interested but wanting more. An overall brilliant composition. Kudos

It's like the light has abandoned you and you're waiting for it to come back.

"Feels very shooting"

The melodies blend together very well, and embodies calm and peacefulness. Has a tinge of sadness to it as well.

One problem seems to be the violins you used, they making an undercurrent of strained humming like a broken down radio sound. Like when you put your ear next to a TV when it's only got static on and listen real close. A little annoying.

yeah I understand what you mean. I tried to fix the strings up because when I started out with them they sounded funny ^^;

Thank you, I'll make sure I improve the quality next time thats for sure. This is the first time i've worked with the software, So I'll keep that in mind.

"Full"

I'd have to say that this song suspends a very strong uplifting bass. (which I think it's too much at times) However, with all the harmonious melodies blending in together, this piece is powerful and epic. Extremely recommended for films.

"Just simply amazing"

This song really suites its title and I have to say, but this song is truly one masterpiece and it is also very peaceful, touching and calming. This song is very emotional and deserves a good rating and I hope you keep up this remarkable work in making songs. However, the bass was a bit to loud at some points of the song. Other than that, it was great and you did a fantastic work. I wish you good luck in your journey to make better songs.
