"Pretty decent, not full enough."

date: May 31, 2009

A pretty decent song you had going on here. I could jam out to it for a little while but I felt that it was really lacking body - try and create a fuller sound. Also, the AYB voice got semi-annoying after a while. Otherwise it was pretty good. Imma go sift through your other stuff now.

"Interesting"

This is a quite interesting song you got here :] it's not repetitive at all, changing path every 20th second or something :p it makes it easy to listen to without growing tired of it, imo. I think you should get rid of the Speakonia-vocie in the beginning, though. As someone below me said, it sounds rather cheesy. But overall it's a nice song and it's hearable that you put much effort into this song. Good job ;p

Author's Response:

Thanks for the compliments, Tiger! Well... I was thinking of having a real vocal for this music, but it would take too long to record etc. So i remembered the shitty, useless speech synthetizer that fl has, and i said to myself:"What the hell? Why not?", and i gave it a shot. And i surprised me. The "aaaaa" part sounds great to me. I agree the voice may be kind of "cheesy" but c'mon... i've compressed it and even added a scratch! That's something, right? ;)

"awesome"

date: May 26, 2009

knowing almost all your work, i can say that this is definetely the best. The beat is not repetive, the use of different sintetizers and voices is great. the piano part is just awesome, especially in the end when you don't know quite well when it will end. awesome, 10/10 and 5/5

"DOPE"

The Microsoft Same voice (only the one at the start) sounds a bit cheesy, but what can you do :P

When the breakbeat comes in, it's pretty much an auditory orgasm.

From then on, the vocal chopping, the drums, melody, everything is great.

The only wish I might have is for a more pronounced, sawwy bassline.

Author's Response:

Thanks Viceoffire! You know... i thought the same thing about the robotic voice. But with the scratches and choir singing, it proved very useful. I guess the robotic voice of Sam is what i was looking for, especially in a music called "Space City" haha.

Thanks for the compliments, and about the sawwy bassline... it would "clip" the song a little. I think. I'm more into real bass, not synth. (And i'm not into octaves too much too...) ;)
