I'm Getting high already!
Really good!!! sounds like a background song that would be used in CSI, and again, THIS IS GOOD. I like the fact that it doesn't sound the same throughout but still isn't super varying.

Woot.
I love seeing hip hop get top five for sure, because its the one gendre thats been held back on NG For a long, long time. This is well worth it. I love the ambience in this for sure. Everything flows rather nicely. Great use of instruments. The beat is really the backbone of this song and it does send us on a journey. Really all i have to say is damn good job with this.

Crisp
I love the crispness of the drums and the ambient sounds throughout the piece. Sounds remarkable, really something you can have going in the background and not be totally distracted by. Really nice work
Thanks. In my opinion the beat should set the background or setting in a hiphop song, and the MC should tell the story, so it's good that you didn't find it too distracting.

Dig,
I always dig ambient/experimental hip hop and this is fantastic. Did you use any samples? My only suggestion would be to maybe add some vinyl/crackle in there, I guarantee you it would only enhance your piece. The drums are extremely crisp and the entire piece sounds masterful. You win in my book.
Thanks. The drums and chimes were samples I downloaded and mixed and arranged myself, but everything else is a VST or a soundfont. I didn't sample any songs or anything, everything was arranged by me. The vinyl is a cool idea, I might have to try that a see what it sounds like for the final version.
