This is a theme meant to incorporate a fusion of genres actually, so it's not 100% classical. It's a soldier's theme, with brass, choir and snare drums for the more traditional military approach, the flute in the beginning to sustain an eerie tense atmosphere, a bit of oboe and silent fast strings in the background for the softer more humane, wailing electric guitar for the jagged mental state and tension and an array of percussions intentionally arranged to sound more electronic, to give the sound of a machine trained for one thing : remorseless annihilation.

"Reminds me..."

date: June 29, 2009

I've been playing the game "Prototype" recently, and this reminds me of the theme thats played when you enter a military base unoticed. I like the entire song, really, it has a great atmosphere and a nice ambient and classical feel. The percussion really works well for this song, it brings out a nice electronic, but still ambient feel. I have absolutly no complaintys about this song, it has a good length and keeps me entertained for the entire song.

Nice work, as usual! 10/10, 5/5, favorite!

Initially I had really started this song as purely percussion based, but later started overlaying a sense of melody. Thank you very much.

"Woah"

date: May 15, 2009

Pros;

Well, I'm genuinely impressed, I feel the mastering is perfect and the EQ'ing made this song sound so full!
The drums were amazing, wailing guitar sounded like it was off silent hill xD
Which is awesome, extremely ambient feel and tension throughout.
Woah. oh and the beginning was awesome! nice variety

Cons: - sorry, but the only way you can improve is criticism (better than "U R sO aWeS00mME!!" reviews xD)

Maybe the sense of disorderedness, some things seemed kinda out of place. Maybe as if the song was tripping over itself with new instruments and choirs unexpectedly.
I couldn't really pick up a main melody line - though they are not really needed in songs with this kind of ambient state, but I would've liked to hear one or two^^

Overall:
I'm really impressed with this, I thought it wouldn't be that good- but then the opening caught me xD
