This is an edit of a song i made a while back. I made this version for a school project which you can watch on youtube - the video has the same title, just search it...

I would u/l the first installment, but i lost the track when i was getting rid of my docs from my old comp that i had on my external hd. if you really want to hear it, look up my user name (infinite walrus) on acidplanet.com. the song is called "Urban Decay" and you can fin the full version of this song as well. The first one is DnB though, so don't be expecting the same style that you got here.

I called the aforementioned songs urban decay b/c at the time i had recently learned what urban decay actually was (wikipedia that shit) and thought that dirty bass and perc kind of sonically resembled the image of urban decay.

No, I'm not a DJ, nor do i own a turntable. those scratches are legal samples that i found somewhere on the internet... speaking of legal samples, if you're in to that kinda thing, although it's not where i got those scratch loops, you should check out "freesound." I can't remember the URL but it might be .org or.net or some weird shit. if you have firefox and google's "i'm feeling lucky" set as your nav bar search then you can just type in freesound, otherwise just google search it.

Depending on how I feel on a song I'm working on currently, i might have UB 3 up soon, it might be too clean though, and there are some other ideas i have with respect to the title. But it's gonna be a good track once it's finished. It's nice and mellow but harsh at the same time... you'll see if you care.

That's all. thanks for reading if you made it this far and sorry for any typos - proof reading is overrated.

good song.

sounds good, all the pieces come together and fit nicely. The mastering is a little off though (bass is muddy, snare sticks out).

This Bass-Synth destroyed the whole track. sorry.. but the scratches and the drums are awesome!
