I'm only posting this because I'm a "SuperFatCow".

I REALLY don't give shit if this song gets poor ratings because, let's face it, any monkey can copy DotA from basshunter's tutorial.

This whole thing was in response to someone challenging my galactic nerd skillz and honour. Two days ago, I reviewed a song submission by georgem124 which happened to be another DotA remix. Many words were exchanged, many of which were "douchebag", "dumbass" and "reatrd" (that's how it was spelled), but included "Go make good music yourself....". Less than a day later I posted this song as musical metaphorical bitch smack...

...which explains the ending.

You can hear his song and read part of the exchange here: /audio/listen/235445

I don't really think I'm that good at this stuff, but someone told me to make something better and I did.

Wish I'd discovered this earlier

This is honestly one of the funniest songs I've heard, simply for the ending. I actually liked the main song, but the ending was icing. It probably helps that I'm listening to this at 1:30 AM and currently on a stomach full of Doritos, which means that everything remotely comedic is funny as hell. Way to be awesome.

time for me to make a flash tbh...

BB make a QQ please...

I'm getting very mixed signals from this review. It's like you're trying to speak to me but I'm not sure what you're trying to communicate.

But thank you for the 9! :)

I like how you made it a fast paced song. Are you new this because it sounds a little professional to me. I like it. But the kicks get very repeative. And the ending is just horrible. LOLZ"

I love how this guy doesn't know shit about what he's talking about. Firstly, a kick can't get repetitive. The beat can. The kick is driving your entire track. Although it is muddy, the rest of the song is alright. The percussion could use a bit of work.

On the synth side, of course as you said, anyone could recreate Basshunter's Dota. However, you managed to add a bit of variation and originality to it. I'm a bit disappointing about the synth sounds and the ending. Although that voice clip was well used :)

Good stuff man. Seems you've got your learning process well on your way.

SuperMechaCow responds:

No need to bash, man.

I couldn't get a good kick sound without distorting it like I always do. I'm a little lacking on samples since all my stuff got erased awhile back. Percussion is one of my weak points.

Once again, the sounds were part of the "joke" in making the song and you can read about it in the edited description.

SuperMechaCow responds:

I did this for about 3 years in MIDI only and then another 3 in FL Studio. Really sad that this is the best I can do after 6 years, but I'm not... musically inclined?

The ending was sort of a joke. I edited the description to explain, so take a look at it.
