This is a song I wrote for a friend. She's always been there for me. I'm having some trouble trying to figure out how to end it though. Right now it's okay, but I'm trying to make it go somewhere before the end of the song and I'm not really sure how to go about that. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

~Edit: Fixed the weird phrasing near the end and added some reverb effects

I definitely have to add you as a new favorite!

How do you make that whispering wind sound? I can never figure out how to do that! it makes this song sound perfect!

And it only gets better with that piano! lol, very nice!!

"Very Dolbyian (rockin', man)..."

date: June 13, 2009

I'm really digging this. The samples are reminiscent of the song "Screen Kiss" by Thomas Dolby. It's a beautiful and elegant little piece you have composed here!

What i recommend is have it trail of by having a set of instruments trailing of at one at a time and slow the beat. Also the melody quietly just sound out.

how about making 2 songs out of this, at 0:46 its like a new introduction...

my suggestion, make 2 songs, one just a piano solo and another one with drumms and so on.

nice work ^^

Author's Response:

you know, I had the same thought, initially I had wanted to try to pick up the pace after the intro but I think it would work well as two separate songs and expand upon both. thanks for the feedback!
