One of my biggest musical inspirations for my style of composing came from when I was playing Super Robot Taisen Original Generation 1 & 2 on my Game Boy Micro. It was a really great strategy RPG game with mechs, cannons and whatnot, but another thing that really made it enjoyable for me was the incredibly well-made soundtrack. I simply loved the soundtrack of both games: the base themes, the battle themes and the character themes most especially.

So now that I have my current tools for composing, I'm not limited to anything. It was about time I made a tribute song to one of the greatest inspirations in my entire life as a composer. I hope you enjoy my remix of Kyosuke Nanbu's theme, called "Trump Card Alteisen", based on his trademark mecha and its ultimate attack.

EDIT:
Pretty small edit made to the piano at the last part.

EDIT 2:
*sigh* Only now I notice I didn't put a direct download link here XD

Long Live Kyosuke Nanbu!!!

I could listen to this song for 4 days straight while working and I'm still not tired of it :D
Now if only there was a remix of Excellen's Theme (*hint hint*)
Amazing job as always!

Damn, this is pretty awesome.

I first came across this in a video of a dude I follow. I have to say, after checking out this and some other stuff of yours, you're a pretty good composer. This makes me want to play Super Robot Taisen, actually, so mission accomplished for you, I guess. Keep doing what you do, man. *thumbs-up*

Wow, I thank that dude you follow for leading you here then! Thanks for the comments, reviews and the assurance that my mission has been accomplished. But hey, you're probably not complaining--it's a great game with awesome music, some of which I will definitely remix in the future! I'll keep it up. :D

I feel as if i walked into awesomeness...

This song is something i would expect to see in a Even sided match that goes into "overtime". Nice to see more music like this that gets me listening to it so much that if it was a contest of how many times you listen: I'd probably WIN.

seriously. nice job on this.

rtnario responds:

What a way to put it XD But yeah, it definitely sounds fit for scenarios like those :D Thanks for the review!
