My first real fore into playing solo music on my viola. First I was going to play off of the sheet music I had written, but since that sounded cruddy I decided to just play this one off the top of my head, hope it doesn't sound to bad, lol. And the quality might be a bit sucky because I had to use the microphone on my laptop, which is pretty crappy. Anyway I'll be happy to read and respond to any reviews and comments on this and any criticism you have please don't hesitate to share! :)

you should've hehard my first solo bleh!!!wanted to die haha...but yeah it sounds like you hit the notes pretty good. i dont have the music score so i cant say for sure but it sounds like there was no Dynamics? and you play the long notes well but the shorter ones seem forced. But yeah solos really suck id way rather play as an orchestra or a small ensemble. Keep workin at t and youll get it :)

I agree, its a little easier when you have atleast one other instrument palyign along with you. And I also agree with you that the shorter notes did seem a little forced, even though it didnt really feel like it at the time. But I will take what you said into consideration for my next piece, thanks for the review dude! :)

I take it you are a beginner, and i had a violin for a few weeks too and ehm well...
I couldn't get this one out of mine, so props to you.

I know how hard it is to exactly hit the right note, but you'll get there with a lot of practice, and i personally can't wait to hear from you in a few months from now, i hope to see a lot of progress.

actually I've been playing for a couple of years O_o, anyway it was my first try at playing solo, I usually play with some sort of ensemble, but I will keep practicing at it and maybe I will be good at playing solo in a few months, thanks for the review! :)
