Alright people. I know I'm uploading less often, but I'm still here. I'm not dying yet.

FL Studio 8 XXL is now fully unlocked for me, so I was able to spend a few days on my first multi-day track. I did have problems, which took a few days to fix. ;) Such as the drums; they wouldn't render correctly and often dozed out, which wasn't acceptable. I ended up changing them. A shame; I liked the other drums.

Enough of that, I guess I'll let ya'll listen. Enjoy. *coughgimme5/5cough*

I like the snare.

Whenever I heard this song in the game I always felt like I was being put in front of a firing squad, and this brought that memory back.

It never occured to me before, but hearing this theme without the layers upon layers of synth that usually gets appied to it makes me realize it's darkly similar to the SeeD Theme from FFVIII. It shares some chordes with it at least, and that's creepy considering how different they are.

Wow!

How is this given such a horrible score? This music captures the feel of desperation, of the "You asshole!" thing that you just want to tell out at the president of Shinra =O

I do agree that the snare drums don't completely match; though they are a thing that is overlookable by me, as they do manage to fit in a little bit. Gives it a more 'real' feel, as Shin'ra was very much based on catering to the normal citizens with their energy and security.

The snare.

I think the snare doesn't quite fit the atmosphere of the rest of the song.

Speaking of atmosphere - I loved all of the other instruments. So it gets a 9 out of 10 for being so close.
