Here is a song I recorded from the CD that we played live but had no previous recording of. I added some clean parts and a slight twist to the ending to change it up a little. From the new Stage 3-1 album Level Up! (www.stage3-1.net/shop).

awesome job man, like the guy below said you can feel the atmosphere. but i think i can imagine mr belmont whichever one it was in number three just running his way through hordes of skeletons whipping as he goes, instead of the slow paced trundle from the game itself :D
but all in all wicked man nice job

Author's Response:

Hahaha. Yeah, the music isn't a perfect reflection of the game for sure. Not to knock the game, but it is slow compared to the song. Thanks for the review.

I was just looking on the audio portal to hear while i do some school work, i wasn't going to review nor vote. But after hearing this, i had to do it.
I simply loved the way you've put the song, it was nearly identical to the original version, except the instruments used. =)
And from the 1:26 to 1:41, what was that? Awesome, simply awesome! You changed totally the instruments without doing it bad! I loved that part!

Awesome work, please continue working more castlevania songs. =)

Author's Response:

Thanks. That's what I usually try to do, is keep it close to the original with a bit of flare. I find that way you don't lose the nostalgia of the song. from 1:26 to 1:41 was just clean guitars, with a lot of panning. When I decided to do the song I just had that part stuck in my head, and it turned out pretty much how I wanted it to. Thanks.
