This has been my little 2 weeks project: Completely pimp out Reality Strikes into something epic

The song as a whole has been improved tenfold between the diversified drumline, mountain of automation, the additional melodies, the MUCH improved mastering, and improved reese, and christ.....ALOT more.

Speaking of mastering, this is something totally different from me. No compressors aside from the reese, the bass is fully preserved and the general sound quality of the whole song is hella crisp <3

Listen to the original Reality Strikes first, there are improvements every blink of an eye in this version!

ps: The project file to this eats my CPU like candy

"Good song"

date: June 2, 2009

Its a good song but i think you should try experiment by creating faster and shorter songs (~3 mins).
Like your music nevertheless...

Author's Response:

I tend to have a hard time making shorter length songs, just doesn't feel right to me XD

I like going for a 5-7 minute track, lets me use some large build ups and mix up the score a bit as I go.

As far as tempo goes, I just go with whatever I feel like doing when I do the song.

"175bpm?"

date: May 19, 2009

I don't know does NG's dnb board have some sort of various dnb chulture, but from my tiny experience 175bmp is the only and the real dnb tempo. More than that (200) would be breakcore and less than that would just be basic beat :/ Well this one does sound great though, keep up your fancy work!

Author's Response:

I'm more of a breaktrance musician so I tend to not crank up the tempo too much in my DnB

"Nuiiice"

This one rocks. It really has that crisp yet dirty feel. Ilike how it's pretty slow, and the bass is poifect. Length is a plus, and this is a very solid piece of work.
