This track I wrote in memory of a good friend, Tony Novak, a great musician and friend who passed away this year (8th of March 2009).
He is the one who helped me starting with computer music production, he also opened my eyes to ethnic music. Tracks like "Thracian Jazz' or "Ethnography" should be credited to him for the idea.

Anyway, expressing myself trough words is hard, I find it easier trough music.
Track is divided in 3 parts:
1- theme played by piano and guitar
2- theme developed by orchestra
3- short guitar impro and theme in manouche style

Gear used:
- acoustic guitarTanglewood TMO-10MC
- trumpet Bb Amati ATR213
- microphone Oktava MK 319
- mixer Behringer Eurorack UB1204FX-Pro
- midi controller M-Audio Radium 49
- soundcard M-Audio Delta Audiophile 192

"R.I.P Tony Novak"

date: July 23, 2009

The music itself depicts the connection and friendship you shared and not only speaks through music but as in mind as well. The connection here is obvious and the influence in your music is inspiring. Not only can I feel emotions, its as if someones telling me a story and a lullaby mixed together and its simply touching. I have never met you nor ever will nor did I know your friend but you have done him justice as this song lays him to rest. I love the ethnic influence it greatly adds to the feel and oddly it all connects smoothly together.

I can't wait to hear more. Good luck my friend and I hope you continue to write breath taking music.

"Truly moving music."

I find myself at a loss for words when trying to describe this song.

I nearly cried around 1:17 when the music swelled.

It is my favorite song from all of your songs. All instruments fits very good one with each other. Keep making music like that :)
Maybe you have guitar tabs for it? It would be nice to learn that song.

Author's Response:

I'm not much into tabs, actually I'm not into tabs at all :))
I can try to write it down but that's... that's a lot of work for a lazy man like me :))
Thanx for review.

The instruments used in making this song was just great such as the guitar and its unique variety made this song great and perfect. This song is also very peaceful and calming. I am also very sorry for the lost of your friend and I am sure he would have enjoyed this song very much. I hope he rests in peace and I also hope you can make better and better songs. Excellent work.

Author's Response:

I'm much better expressing my feelings in music than in words (just because I can't find words when I need them, LOL).
Thanx for your always nice reviews.
