For Septenary's Tower Tactics: Aphelion Towers

The world is not so full of rage all the time. We find ourselves in a field with tall wheat bending gently in the wind, a gentle soothing river nearby. Closing his eyes our hero lowers his hands so that the flowing wheat sweeps across his worn and tired hands. Thinking about the lives lost, the lives to lose and yet and take.

Thinking about what was next.

"Seems so sad"

date: November 8, 2009

Like walking threw an empty ruin of some lost and forgotten civilization. Looking around you can see how they lived and how they died. The temtation and greed of man has destroyed more and more of these once great people, and on day someone will be walking threw our ruins. This lost and forgotten civilization...

Author's Response:

yeah... that's a pretty sad thought but it's true. Here's hoping it doesn't get so bad that there is nobody left to walk through the ruins.

"Wheat Field in Moonlight"

date: May 17, 2009

It doesn't loop perfectly, actually, but that doesn't kill it completely. It's perfect as a song heard only once, which fades out before the end.

I recognize the melody is very, very similar--perhaps dead-on--to The Moonlight Sonata, an excellent classical piece. That is what got my attention the most.

For its intended use and its beauty, I'm more than likely swiping this from the Tower Tactics II soundtrack for a project of my own. IF saying that it's beautiful is one kind of compliment, seriously considering its application in a Flash has to be the best kind of compliment for you, seeing how your efforts won't be wasted.

Excellent work. A second version should loop perfectly, next time.

"((VOTED4))"

date: April 22, 2009

Really cool track. It almost had a gothic sound to it, the way the vocals were presented. It had a really cool, almost creepy, vibe to it.

The guitar riff, and the entire song for that matter, was pretty basic but seeing as you made this song to be the background music for a game (if I read your comment correctly) then this is just about right. The looping wasn't to great, but not bad enough to be noticeable in the background of a game.

Author's Response:

you did read correctly, this was in fact made for a game intermission screen. I wanted it to be slow, somewhat sad, duty laden kind of feel. I should look at this song again, I swear i'm not hearing a looping issue, but with now 3 people telling me the same, there must be something wrong on my end.

"Beautiful."

date: April 22, 2009

One of the top classical loops I've heard on Newgrounds. The singing and guitar were both very peaceful.

Only problem is the looping. It's a noticable change from the end to the beginning. Try to polish that up, and than this would be a near-perfect loop.

Great work, and keep it up!

Glad you liked it! Truth be told I don't quite hear what you mean :c. I know the player sometimes comes in too early/too late but to me it loops rather well... at least most the time anyways.
