I just whipped this one out in one sitting. I was just playing around. I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of originality in the melodies, but I had fun anyway. Hope you enjoy it.

"THIS should be on the radio"

date: June 5, 2009

Many things:

1. NIN comparison. Sorry, I can't escape it :B Definately sounds like this would be the "epic" track on Pretty Hate Machine, and I imagine it being so much more powerful with the right lyrics (and the right use of those lyrics). But even without lyrics, the song is great.

2. The melodies are perfect, even if they might not be original. It almost sounds like a hint of Tool, I think.

3. I think a super hardcore version of this would fucking ROCK. But still keeping the beauty of the melodies, of course. What I mean is, with more powerful beats and some distorted guitar, and synthesizers and all that jazz. If not a super hardcore version (which I crave intensely while listening to the song), then a kind of remix that would be perfect for an "epic" and "extremely satisfying" ending to some kind of awesome videogame.

I think I went a little off the topic of discussing the actual song on that last one.. anyway, I love the song. A few unoriginal melodies here and there mixed with something interesting and new is good for bringing in a different audience to your work, you know, like a hook to reel them in to discovering new types of sounds.

Oh, and I hope you make an album. (: BYE BYE
