This is a bit of a departure from my previous tracks.

It has a bit of a more powerful atmosphere. It's not exactly the kind of music that will make you want to dance, but I hope it's a song that you find it possible to dance to. Does that make sense?

I always like to draw inspiration from people around me, so I always dedicate my songs to those that inspire me. This goes out to probably the coolest teachers I've had. Amanda, this goes out to you.

Anyway, out of all of my songs, this is probably my favorite.

damn...

that bass just about made my eardrums explode, but i liked it! xP 5/5 10/10

Haha, I didn't think too much of the bass. I'm still a novice, so I suppose I'll get better at balancing these sorts of things out. Thanks for the review!

Sweet!

I'm gonna have to disagree with HalcyonicFalconX on the bass issue. I believe that bass is really important in music that you can dance to, but again thats my opinion.
Otherwise, nice job on the song! Keep it up!

BCCB responds:

I suppose it's debatable. Thanks for the review!

Good good good!

I can certainly dance to this song! Although there are a few points of improvement needed.

The intro to 0:13 is really well done. After that point though, the bass needs a little toning down. There is a constant low frequency vibration that detracts from the song big time. I'd suggest a high pass on the EQ on frequencies to cut out the frequencies under C1. The bass vibration really overpowers the rest of the song, and it only gets worse when I listen to it on my speakers+subwoofer.

The transition part from 0:41 to 1:08 isn't bad... although not a favorite of mine. That panning to-and-fro synth got a little bit annoying.

The part after that from 1:08 to 1:49 is my absolute favorite part of this song. It's a nice compliment to the hard parts that precede and follow after it. The snare entering in at 1:35 is a nice lead in to the following part.

Again, as I had said with the part before, this part has the same vibration bass problem. Although I liked how you included the crystal sounding synth at 2:17.

The ending however is a problem. It's so abrupt... and I seriously think you could do much better than just a drum breakdown to synth chord.

Great job nonetheless! Just fix it up a bit and it'll be good!

Thanks for the input!

I'll definitely take your comments into consideration. I'll probably tweak it soon. The ending was actually my least favorite part. I noticed how I ended most, if not all, of my songs with a simple crash, and I wanted to try something different. I'll do some more experimenting.

Again, thanks for the review! I really appreciate it!
