This piece was originally titled "A Legend Told". When "Hero of Time" producer David Blane first contacted me letting me know if I was interested in scoring their Legend of Zelda fanfilm, he wanted to put my skills to the test.

So he asked me to compose a 3 minute piece with a certain tranquil resemblence of the Legend of Zelda music we all know and love, but then after it was composed, he asked me to change a section in middle just to see if I was flexible enough to handle the changes requested.

The result is this piece. Needless to say, it got me the job.

UPDATE!!!
This piece was used in the ending credits of the "Hero of Time" film.

The strings and other instruments were flawless, and they set the perfect mood. Another great piece by the one and only George R. Powell. I'm going to make it my goal to review all of my favorites from you. There are just so many.

Well, thank you for the compliment, although the truth is that there's a "one and only" of everyone. =p

Feel free to review away, though. =)

Author's Response:

Yeah, I didn't know that this was going to be in the film until I saw it at the Premiere. They placed it at the ending credits, which it ironically fit well there (wasn't what I would have pictured being there, but ah well).
