So what we have here is a guitar ballad.
A guitar ballad with capable guitar, more-or-less in-tune vocals, and very nice harmonies.
Certainly, this is a very pleasant sound that would be lovely to cruise down the coast at night to. Perhaps all we need is some more distinctiveness. For example, what does this version of the song add to the original?
