Here it is, the remix of that other song that my friend Erik and I made, The 10 and a half heroes. I finished the melody of this in around two hours, and the instrument adding just took another few hours, but were happy it came out so well in such a small amount of time. We still worked pretty hard on this. Hope you enjoy it, and reviews would be great!! :)

Lol, what a guitar solo. Almost sounds a bit like Victor Wooten's style. You have mostly the same instrumentation, not much to comment on there. You still tend to treat drums as an instrument with the same priority as other instruments instead of using it as the rhythmic groundwork throughout - hence the long percussionless parts. Cool ending! A dreamy piano chord and a fading arpeggio... seems like a bit of development.

Step responds:

Oh god the guitar solo. And the ending. I was so proud of those haha.

Echo did all the drums at the time, and most of the time they were treated the same way the melodic instruments were treated, which was bad. I think that by Life Goes On I start actually treating the drums as a proper rhythmic component.

Thanks!

Fresh sounding

~~REVIEW~~
and another nice beat you guys got going here, its abit more fast paced to some of the stuff i like, but i do like it, i like the fresh feel it gives, and great work on the {PIANO} nice finish there aswell, but i did think it was somewhat short ended??? maybe its just me wanting more of the style you guys got going here, but i like all the instraments in this one, they all seem to work well together and really make for a chippy fun and fresh tune here, oh and i do hear some of that flute in there but mostly the piano work was my fave so again really nice work on this, make more soon.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
It seemed abit shortended as explained above, maybe you can add abit more to it, seems like it would fit perfectly with a game or something, anyways nice job.

Step responds:

Aw man, why do you keep reviewing my old songs. I feel so embarrassed when you review them lol. Thanks for the review nonetheless :3.

The instrumentation in this is a guitar, flute, piano and percussion, which is quite a weird combination, eh? :P. Glad you like it.

As for the problem with the ending, now that I hear it again, I think you're right about it. It sounds very abrupt and as if it ended too suddenly. So yeah, you're right about the ending xP.

Thanks for the review!

Step responds:

Oh, Erik adds the other instruments. He's hopeless when it comes to melody, trust me. Anyway, glad you liked the song!
