No complaints about the genre, please; I don't give a shit if you don't think this is house, just try to enjoy the song.

This has been a project for a very long time, all my other "house" projects are named "house 1", "house 2", etc for a small string of numbers. This project was "house 1". Yeah, the first house project I started on this computer :O So, I dug it up from the depths of hell and decided to see if there was anything I could do with that funky bassline.

Turns out that there was a lot I could do. My bass now growls. Keep it easy Newgrounds;

Yeah this is the stuff I like however your mastering needs to be worked upon!! You don't need more reverb or anything like that, let's get your bass REALLY thumping. Use a spectral analyzer? Bitcrusher? Also, it sounds like house to me. Good category placement. High five!

I was going to make a comment about how everything was great, except that the bass needed to have a little more Oomph...you know, a little something extra besides just the actual bass hit, then at 1:33...it begins...and sure enough, you nailed it. I love it. Definitely has that house feel. Great work. Take it easy, and if its easy, take it twice.

"Noice."

The bass seemed really dry. Perhaps through on some more reverb.
The beat was nice though.

"orkester and hi pass"

date: April 17, 2009

ahh yes the orkster sound bank.... man these instruments never get old, the nnxt is so brilliant.

first off the bad stuff
somewhere between 78 and 312hz that kick has got to give. the amplitudes were just a little to high for my taste. i kept thinking. my monitors are ok with this but car default car speakers or lap top speakers will shred when exposed to these frequencies. as far as mixing goes i just didnt think it was appropriate, the grainy bass was just enough bass. but the kick was a little too much.

at 3:38ish i just wasnt feeling that type of build in this song however it was effective, you filtered that well.

the most unique part in this song for me and something that i almost took the wrong way started at :20 ish.... that high pass was awesome and when you side chained it or gated it at :30 my mouth fell open because that was a really cool stereo effect i have never heard utilized. i would like to use this in future productions actually.
