Haiii!!

This is actually kind of fun, I haven't done Trance in a while.. and I'm mixing it with a Rose song! I've remixed "Rose At Midnight" into a trance song, it actually turned out better than I thought... it's soft trance too, so you can just totally mellow out while listening to this XD

I've heard ppl tell me my last song was way too short, soo.. here's an almost 6 minute song XD. I hope you like this little experiment!

PS: Thanks to ParagonX9 for the name suggestion (I had no idea Snapdragon was a Rose/Flower?!) and helping me with some pitch issues.

Beautiful

This is quite possibly one of the best Trance songs I've heard in a long time. Surely something F-777 should hear. First off the beats were kick ass through the whole song and the synths were perfect. I listen to Trance songs twice to see if I can catch repetition, and I must say I really didn't catch any repetition. If you had some good song lyrics to go with this song then it would be a wonderful piece of music, but this song can do justice by itself. All in all a masterful piece of work.

Thanks a lot. :)
About the lyrics... I might give that a shot in one of my new songs, maybe, when I do trance again. :D

None this time

No monster block paragraphs, I just don't have it in me - been having some sleep problems recently, too tired. But I liked this a lot, very well done. Five'd for taste ;)

Thanks, Reaper! :)
I hate Insomnia, btw. :(

Bass too wide

the bass on this was way too wide for me and ate up some frequencies on the stereo field that i think would have really made the piece sparkle. the plucked instrument was well placed and fit in very well.

your filtering was great, and you did good at picking the reversal samples for this they were actually just the right ones insted of a random reversed crash or something.

around 4:08 i would have liked to hea that pad more and the piano wasnt "there enough" good amplitude but bad mix on that. i think it came from the bass issue again. idk.

at 3:48 smooth move on that build dropping the pad at the end was a good idea.

anyway good work on this but since this is a great work and you know what all is good about it work on making that bass more mono or something, rhythmic parts may not need to be so bold when the emphasis here is the atmosphere created by the pads and plucked instrument. also i listened to this with a sub which i put centered with my monitors and it naturally put alot of the bass in the center and the higher parts of it were on my hi/mid monitors, so perhaps try to keep the bass lower in the freqs, but not too low since trance bass is higher, and consider the common persons listening format, with ear buds or computer speakers. you probably know all this crap.

any way, great work. im proud lol

i really have to brush up on my technical definitions on some of the things you mentioned, I dont know what half of this means. XD but I think i can paint a pretty good picture of what you mean, so I'll keep it in mind as best as I can.

Anyway, I'm happy you liked it ;oo, and I'll try to see what I can do next time about some things. :P

Missing the Rose a bit

Ok I listened the full Song now (wasn't sure about to review while listening to catch the feelings without thinking lol) Great Guitar Melody and Sound (less is often more) its going its way to 0:59 choir effect where the track really catched my interest the first time (missing the 'Rose' -feeling abit for now) Anyway the 1:21 Synth is cool but... arr, it haunts me dammit, its a bit 'plain' I think...

I thought we were having some serious business at 2:47 when the Rose-Guitar comes in finally JUST TO DISSAPPEAR again naahhh I wanted some more :,( The second mellow Melody at 2:56 it awesome btw. Overall it was more a new Trance Song for me then a Trance Remix of 'Rose at Midnight' and if you haven't mentioned it before I wouldn't have even noticed it (oh complex time forms for my lacky english) I was expecting much more 'Rose' here *sniff*

Its a cool mellow Trance Song to hang around on the couch and doing absoutely nothing ;D I started bobbing my head left and right and my left Leg was moving a bit unintentional so I still guess you made something right...

Ooh, Aera!

Yep.. the Rose comes and goes, I can't really fill 6 minutes (or 4) with that melody alone.. if you listen close you hear I made a ton of small variations on it during the song to remove as much repetition as I could. XD Midnight wasn't a very long song at all and the guitar melody only played in the beginning for like 20 seconds! :O

But I liked the melody enough to do something different with it. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
