In a weird way---this resembles to me a little kid's growth and experience through random ups and lefts and rights and a little down, in the most optimistic way possible. At least while I was making this. Unless I was overanalyzing again. :P
So yeah. Speak zeh critique, plz =] I'm dying to hear your thoughts and any images that come to mind! ":D

[EDIT]: Ending sounds much, much nicer..I almost fell asleep... *snore*

I threw up on my keyboard. This song makes me imagine a child taking a lethal dose of acid, seizuring abysmally to death, writhing night in his baby crib, staring at the rotating night star decorations hanging above his head, for the last time. In his final moments, his body involintarily convulses as shits and wets the bed, laying still and lifeless, ands and feet outstretched in a frozen stance.

5/5

An strange story...but it came from listening to this song, so that's good enough for me! :P A song that can tell is a story is a song well done, imo. So thanks. Glad you liked!

Oohh. I like the sound of this. The intro sounds a little odd to me with some of the notes, but i like the progression, but the middle part IMO could use a little more polish, but that last part is pretty nice. :D I like how it has this sort of odd synthy celtic quality to it, at least in my ears it has that sound. Just reminds me of Lord of the Rings somehow. Or knights. In the 80's. :P

Thanks so much! :D

The synths sound very nice, good job. The melody does have a childish impression, too, though it's sometimes unclear whether it wants to be serious or lighthearted. Some parts felt a bit too full, especially around the middle, but nothing too bothersome.

alternativesolution responds:

Thank you! Childish was what I was going for indeed.

SO RANDOM!

Sounded extremely playful and happy during the first minute. Then it got a bit ominous, and a lot more organized.

Overall, it's not a bad song at all! Your bass is a bit muddy here and there but it's not bad.

I wish I could leave a better review but I'm about to go to sleep. O.O

Great job Alt!
5/5

Funny :D

I can't find a better word than ''funny'' to describe this song. And that's not negative, but extremely positive :-)
Now i'm going to listen to the song again and see if i hear anything that could be better. I didn't hear anything to improve the first time i listened ^^

When the song starts you immediatly hear the quality of the song. You also hear the mood of the song and that's very good :-)
Also, the song is NOT repetitive. Actually, it's far from repetitive and you did a very good job on that.
All the synths and little sounds work together amazingly!
The song flows really well too.
When you go into the next section (at 01:00) the change is quite big, BUT it is so well timed! Changes can do a song good and this change definatly did that ^^
Then you build things on that section which really gives you the feeling that it's working towards something. And it did! :D
Then at 02:08 you bring another change to the song. This change isn't as well timed as the first one, but it is still very very nice.
Then the end comes...
The end is the only thing in this song that i didn't like. I mean, you hear a synth playing and then it... stops. It just stops. No cool ending effect or no real climax.
The best thing i think you could do here is to change the last note an octave plus a few notes higher and hold that note a little longer and fade it out. Don't fade it out too slow, but not too fast either, just do what feels right.

All in all, you're getting a 10/10. I know, i should give you a 9/10, because a 10/10 is a perfect score and i had some critique, but you deserved a 10/10. And i'm serious about that. You can just hear the work put into this song and it really pays of.
So, that was my review. I hope it was helpful to you :D

alternativesolution responds:

:D <--That is my face right now. You have no idea how happy I am :D !
I really, REALLY appreciate your reviews. This one was especially helpful and inspiring :) And I know what you mean about the end. I was iffy..but now I'm not. So, I'm off to fix that >X-]
By morning it should sound better. Thanks so much for reviewing :D
