Remix Demo
The Trance starts at: 01:18
As most of you know, the original song is "Styles & Breeze - You're my angel" and this is what I've come up with so far.
And its a submission to a contest: http://www.newgrounds.com /bbs/topic/1046386
I get the feeling that its kinda quiet in the beginning, perhaps its just me being tired.
Anyhow, I've always loved the original and some of the remixes, so when I saw the contest, I knew what I whould remix :P
The mixing isn't the best, but its only a demo/WiP :P
I'd like to get some feedback, and some ideas :P

I like the marimba
but I think you should take another Brass-synth which sounds softer till 1:40
maybe a oboe
the rest of the song is great =)

I guess what gave me insperation to the intro was your song "Heaven Town" :D
However, I will remove the vocals, and delete the synth melody and make a completly different melody and make this into an original song instead of a remix :P
And I'll probably change the synth into something else :P

1st half and 2nd are two different songs
I didnt like the vocals, in the 2nd half it sounds like cheap country techno :P
but panflute tries to keep it together and somehow it mades . so yeh :)

I intend to remove the vocals and redo the lead melody, and make it into an original song instead of an remix.

To be honest...
I didn't like the beginning or all the peacefulness sort of. I love all your mellow sounding works and everything, but i dont think it would fit with this track, and doesnt really fit the vocals? Try going for a more hardcore/trancey atmosphere here. Well besides me not liking it, i think you used the sounds well and stuff, but doesnt just fit the song You're my angel. I dont know thats just my opinion. 9/10. 5/5 :) good luck on the contest!
