"Simple yet Amazing!"

date: January 2, 2009

Simple but very nice to listen to. It has beats that you can follow. I love the mix of the sounds.

"For an early start, it's a good one!"

date: July 9, 2008

I will definitely say that the beat in this song was the most admirable portion of it. The notes may not necessarily have had much structure to them, you nonetheless managed to capture a basic outline for a song that could be expounded upon in the future.

Perhaps what could be most improved within this piece is the nature of the notes themselves. I feel too distanced between each section because of the fact that their tone and source just doesn't blend that well. Nevertheless, there are hints of some organization here and there, and the separation of left and right speakers for some sound effects was a nice addition.

It isn't memorable, but it still has its moments!

"Love the bass line, lol."

date: April 22, 2005

Seems like you had fun playing around with the melodic motifs in this one. I like the part wher the key modulates back and forth, and the rythms get more and more interesting.

One criticle note (srry): The piece stayed on that D almot the whole time. It would be neat to throw in some harmopnic varience here and there, or more simply put, moving harmonic line. For example:
After say 4 bars of the :|dd-dd---|, move to say g, or f, and then back down to d. The rythms/expansions on the motifs were well done, but I felt that would have been the next step (hey, it's only your third loop, eh? Listen to mine, lol -_-).

Great work on this. Have you given up on flash? I have next to no talent in that department, but I've never seen any of your work, and would love to sometime. Perhaps even one of theose line/dot flashes that are interpretive of one of oyur loops?

Anywho, good luck with you future endeavours.

Author's Response:

Yeah, the note change may have added a bit more to 'er. I was just happy that I found such a hot sounding bass.

I shall listen to your loops ASAP!

As for flash, it has been moved to the back burner for now. I've found ability in FruityLoops; with Flash MX I was hardly progressing. All in due time though.

Thanks for the sexy review. =D

It was very reminiscent of a Looney Toons game I used to play at one point. Needless to say, you won points for that. Great job, I really liked it.

Author's Response:

Haha, kickin' it old school.
Glad you enjoyed it man. I'll keep you posted when I put something else out.
