"Good shit..."

date: February 18, 2006

sept the drums but you already know that. Don't know why you'd rip on Dimmu... I dig the shit out of them... sure they aren't Darkthrone or Mayhem but music is about building upon what is there and making it your own... they make great songs and Nick Barker is a kick ass drummer. If you want to rip on music make it something that deserves your scorn like pop, punk or rap... something that doesn't take mastery of anything to make. k rant over... liked your song gave it a 5.

"Cool demo"

date: August 7, 2005

It was pretty good man are you in a band?Anyways cool tune.Couldn't hear the guitar to well and the drums sounded off but hey it's just a demo.

Oh and by the way Mike Portnoy is a member of Dream Theater with John Petrucci and a singer I loathe called James LaBrie.I can't remember the bassists name though.Oh well.

Author's Response:

Oh ok. I'm not a great drummer. I only do it because nobody else will. And I'm my own band. Www.midianarmy.com go there or die!

do you use double kicks? if you do, listen to mike portnoys drum solos to get a feel on how quadrupitles and tripltes sound. The open hi hat that u use is too...flashy. tone it down a bit to make it sound a little cleaner and more approaprtiate to the drum kit. I like the guitar though, nice job on that.

keep it up,

Author's Response:

I use a piece of shit yamaha electric drumset, and my computer skips all the time... Who the hell is Mike Portnoy? Hellhammer's probably better, anyway.

Also, the reason the hi-hat is open is because the pedal to close it is broken. And I use it, along with the bass drum, to keep beat. I'm not sure about when I made this demo, but that's what i use it for nowadays. Peace out!
