"Birth"

date: October 26, 2009

Silken, soft drops of water fall from stalactites in shimmering lines, rippling sound throughout the cave. A chill wind blows, winding through holes in the ice, birthing fluttering eyelids to open and reveal blue orbs which shine with life. Flesh touches cool frost, pushing upwards to stand in the cavern of cascading light. Near silence is broken by a soft gasp as the orbs reflect against ice. The self is aware.

Author's Response:

the story is as icy as the song. Well written Wolven. You've got a good sense of description.

Its beautiful.

Seriously, there is no flaw with this music, its superfluous, addictive and passionate. For someone in the who wishes to be in the games development industry some day this is the kind of music I am looking for, this quality and skill, a multi-tide of instruments all strung together in a symphony that sings to you and could bring a tear to your eye. Well done MaestroRage, you'll be great one day.

"A story comes to mind..."

date: May 4, 2009

There once was a boy called wtfshutup, and as he went to listen to a piece of music he had not heard before, he saw pointless stories of people who instead of reviewing a song write a story.... JK,

great song, definuitly icy, ever thought of a proffesional career?

"Sounds..."

When I was listening to this I was reminded a lot of Kingdom Hearts style music (or other Yoko Shimomura works) due to the piano and wind instruments. Thus, it is very calm but also carries great emotion in that you feel like something terrible is about to occur but you must face it still.
