Decided to do a calm version of Kolima Forest from Golden Sun. I love this song so much, and I'd like to see more people doing versions of Golden Sun songs! Greatest GBA experience ever! Please tell me your thoughts!

"Memories"

date: August 4, 2009

It is songs like these that keep my lonely Gba in constant action. Its funny when ur like "I dont remember what this sounds like..." then u play it and ur like "Oooo this!"
The main issue i had was the begging sounded a little cluttered. It is suppose to be a "calming song" so it is good to start with near silence and then slowly add echo and more instruments, then fade away at the end to make it a seamless loop.

"^_^ Interesting"

date: April 1, 2009

But way too much reverb in the main notes. A little reverb is nice here and there, but each one of those main notes echoes itself about 5 times in the beginning, which loses the mood a bit. Also, the low piano/violin notes (you hear one at 1:38 if you need to know what I mean)...you need a different instrument for those, those piano notes just sound flat in the middle of this otherwise great song.

Clean'er up a bit and I'll five it and download it. There are precious few good Golden Sun mixes around, so once this one is fixed up, it'll get plenty of popularity.
