Very minimalist. If you're an ambient fan, sit back, relax, and close your eyes.

:) Soothing.

Liking the sounds used. Definetly goes with the song name. Downloaded this a while ago..

Gillenium responds:

Thank you! I'm surprised this song goes with the title, to be honest. I just happened to have real live ants in real blue gel at the time and the title just popped out to me. Naming songs is still a mysterious process to me.

Amazing peice

i'm normally not an ambient music-goer, but when i played pandemic, it truly enhanced the mood. the sounds have a very 'liquidy' feeling, and by that i mean, the emptyness feeling you get when listening to it. it fits well for a game or otherwise film that delivers a claustrophobic (i know i spelled that wrong) feeling that, for example, would fit at the end of the first resident evil movie, in the ending scene after the woman gets up off the operating table, and it shows the city in ruins. also, like the man (or woman) below me said, delivers an empty, hollow, 'sole survivor' sort of feeling that the metroid prime games have.

all in all, excelent peice. major props my man :D

Gillenium responds:

Thanks a lot! I think the bleak nature of this one works very well with Pandemic.

Great.

Must say i'm a big fan of ambient, and everytime I listen to this I remember why. This is quality music right here. The drums came in very smoothly, and I normally don't like them. There was one sound I didn't really recognized, but I liked it a lot. It was the melody, and came in later. Either way, great job on this peice, I liked it a lot.

Gillenium responds:

Ah, the narrow-casting pays off. I made this song for people like you, bud. Glad you like it!

I was wondering...

Could I possibly use this in a submission? There'd be credit, of course. My email is niicole@gmail.com.

Gillenium responds:

Sure, that's what it's here for. Go for it.

top notch

Of all of your music, I have to say your ambient songs are my favorite. The intro put me on the beach with the waves pushing at my feet. The only problem is that it is a bit short (but file size is always a killer for artists). I will keep a lookout for your album when it comes out.

Gillenium responds:

Thanks a bunch. Yeah, there are several songs that I haven't submitted to Newgrounds simply because I couldn't fit them. I think a 5mb limit would be 100 times better than 4mb.
