Kickass

I agree with shadow, this is more of a revenge or anger song rather then a sad lament. But it still sounds friggen sweet! I can imagine this at the end of TP when you fight Ganondorf after he crushed Midna's helmet.

Cool, but missed the point.

It totally takes the purpose of the song and does something completely different. IT sounds great, HOWEVER the purpose of Midna's Lament is supposed to evoke a sad mood, with drums going off like that it doesn't do the job.

Hey, why does this version sound so familiar?

Oh, yeah. It was used at the end of one of the episodes of a DISCONTINUED series! Said series was one of my favorites, and one of my friend's favorites. But, yeah, I can see why this version was used in said series. (I refuse to say that it's Zelda UO and damn, I just did) But, yeah, awome!
