A highly technical progressive metal song, time signatures, odd rhythms, a bit of shredding, and inconsistent structure.

"Catch THIS Rhythm, I Fucking DARE You!"

date: May 17, 2009

Now, this would have been cooler if the mix didn't sound so soft. It has to be louder formaximum effect! Breaking the register has to be one of your biggest fears then, isn't it?

Well, this song certainly isn't fearless, however. It goes everywhere and nowhere and then straight through the ears, utterly relentless in its delivery. There is beauty wherever truth and justice reside. It is true that Kor-Rune is going to be a crack musician in need of a band and a contract, and this CATS of a song does his reputation great justice.* As for beauty... well, some parts of the song were pretty, but....

Well, whatever. No matter how crazy this song gets, it's got a certain order in its chaos. This makes me think the title is misleading. It should be called "Caught."

See, I have heard how we're all crazy, but only a few get "caught". This is often the only distinction between nations, or individuals. Getting caught being crazy is a harrowing experience, because now people will stigmatize you for the rest of your life. It throws off the incentive of getting to know other people, or sharing your viewpoint of the world to them.

So, do me a favor Kor, and change the song title to "Caught". Remember: you're just as sane as the rest of us. The only difference is that your wank-mastery exceeds some of the veterans around here....

...

* - Should have chopped those Zero Wing references. They only sounded funny as they were typed....
