Long story short, my girlfriend left me today, I always wanted to do an orchestral version of the song I made for her on our anniversary (http://www.newgrounds.co m/audio/listen/186589) but never got around to it.
I decided to get it done, whether it sounded good or not, I feel a little relieved just tying up loose ends like this. I don't mind getting 0 bombed now, my emotions are in this song and I'm calm now. You don't always have to be sad when someone you love moves on, but it's alright to be, I tell you though; be productive with it.
Extreme ends of the spectrum are where your musical talent flows the most, when you're sad or when you're happy, that's when you can make a masterpiece as simply as you can walk or run. I don't consider this a masterpiece, but it makes me happy to have made such a song, and I hope anyone listening can feel the same emotions I do.
My friends have given me words of encouragement and advice every day to help me through, I don't know what I would do without them. They tell me to move on, but I wish it were so easy. I dedicate this to anyone who has ever said a kind word to me or helped me while I was in a bind. I'm here because of you. I also dedicate this to her, even if I force myself to hate her for what she's done to get over it all, this song is the embodiment of my love for her and how much I cared. This song will never be perfected though, because no song in the world can express what I felt for her, no mater what I was put through or how miserable it was. This is me pulling through.

Thanks for making such a beautiful song. You are right in your words that masterpieces are made when your in the extreme, happy or sad. May you write more music in the happy though for years to come.

Melancholy..
The intro melody is very transcending and brought me a feeling of hope. To see the same gorgeous melody throughout the length of the song was a pleasant surprise, once I thought I'd hate at first, but eventually grew to love. The story you gave along with this piece really caught my attention and I read it as I listened to your song. Losing someone you once loved is never easy and only the best of us ever really find true love. To the ones who retain that love, I envy.
Anyway, I loved this piece. I listen to it often and downloaded to listen at my convenience. The best songs always have passion behind them, inspiration to drive the artist forward and expose their true talent. I believe this to be a testament to that phrase. Orchestral beauty, encased inside a two minute melody.
I hope to see a new piece from you sometime, it would be a lovely surprise.

awsome
you know, I dont write reviews much, all due to the fact that I myself am extremely shy, but this song has gotten me to do so because, its just that good. Really, I had this favorited and meant to put it on my ipod, but procrastinated too much, but anyways I can feel the emotions in this, and i really cried from the song.... no seriously, like I'm not just saying that I literally cried a little bit. good job keep it up 5/5 :D
